One of our favorite tactical tourniquets currently available, they are full featured fixing the known issues of the popular CAT tourniquet. Important design features include: Easy to tighten, Able to apply one handed, Heavy duty materials to allow very tight compression, Strap disconnect point for mounting flexibility, Easy tension lock point, and Able to slowly release compression later. The tourniquet handle is machined from a single piece of high strength aluminum bar stock; virtually eliminating the risk of product failure.
The SOF® Tactical Tourniquet-Wide(SOF®TT-W) is the result of an exhaustive 24 month research initiative compiling end-user research and laboratory studies to develop a more effective, easier to use tourniquet for all environments. High-strength, light-weight alloy components are used in critical areas of function ensuring reliability in the most challenging of circumstances and on the largest of limbs. This was all accomplished while reducing the weight by an amazing 25%.
Each tourniquet ships with two UV resistant black rubber bands for mounting to your individual equipment.
