ICE-TACTICAL Advanced BDU Pants MC:

-Took forever to get these, but finally got them in recently. I'll be beating up on them so I can give a more thorough review, till then here are some first impressions. I enjoy the nice big side pockets and I find the back pockets to be an improvement over the CP style ones with a bonus pull tab and uses 2 pieces of velcro rather than 1. The double way zipper is clearly a win for droppn liquids on demand.

I was sad to see lack of some sort of upper front pockets and I had to sew on the D-ring you see. None are included originally. The ankle closures have a shock cord and cord lock setup by default which is good if you are a non-bloused boots kind of guy. The cargo pockets have a rowdy amount of velcro. Personally this is inconvenient to me since one cannot open the pocket with 1 hand without A LOT of effort. This will come down to preference however, since this is a clear response to soldier complaints of ACU cargo pockets not staying closed. I also wish there were lower side leg pockets, but I don't use them all the time anyway. Top closure above the zipper is a snap which is faster than a button, but of course a bit harder to field fix if ever damaged. The pants seem solid offhand, but wish there were more bells and whistles for the price ($95). Site link with basic data: <link>
