MAXPEDITION - Notebook Covers

Details
Category: Admin-Intel
Created: Wednesday, 05 August 2009 03:15

3” x 5” Notebook Cover - 5.5" H x 4" W
4” x 6” Notebook Cover - 6.5" H x 5.125" W
Field Book Cover - 8.5” x 5.5” x 0.75”

Since Maxpedition has a good relation with Rite in the Rain, they have made some heavy duty covers for their popular field notebooks. Some quick breakdowns:

3” x 5” Notebook Cover: Fits all 3” x 5” top spiral notebooks.
Exterior has a small loop field for a patch and pen slots sewn into the back. Uses clamshell double zipper vertical opening. On the interior there are sleeve pockets on the top and bottom for holding notepad or papers. Up top is a divided elastic strip for holding writting tools.

4” x 6” Notebook Cover: Fits all 4” x 6” top spiral notebooks.
Exterior has a small loop field for a patch while the back is clean. Uses clamshell double zipper vertical opening. On the interior there are sleeve pockets on the top and bottom for holding notepad or papers. Up top is a divided elastic strip for holding at least 4 writting tools while bottom has further sleeve pocket divisions for holding 4 more pens or pencils.

Field Book Cover: Fits “Rite In The Rain” Tactical Field Book (4-5/8” x 7-1/4”)
Exterior has a substantial 4" x 3" loop field on the front for a patch while the back is clean. Uses clamshell double zipper horizontal opening. Left side has large sleeve pocket with 4 writting tool sleeve slots. An additional shorty slot is available originally intended for the Fisher Space Pen. The right side also has a large sleeve pocket with 2 shorter sleeves on top for holding and organising papers or other flat items.

All of these covers are built well and function well. If I had to find an improvement I'd say there should be external writting tool slots for the 2 larger covers. Somewhat odd to only see that feature on the smallest 3"x5".
