For placement considerations; although the size is similar to common shears the more robust construction does change the shape some. That said our original shear pouch can still hold them well (sold separately) and one can stick them in most PALS webbing slots. The blades have a nice consistent tension which results in enhanced cutting results. On this listing the blades are black and color refers to handle color.
